Cecil Road Primary and Nursery School

Cecil Road Primary and Nursery School, is our fourth location, where we offer lessons on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
 
We provide swimming lessons for adult and baby and level 3, with both group and one-to-one (121) sessions available.

  • Group lessons: Limited to a maximum of 6 students per instructor, for adult and baby - level 3
  • Parking: On road parking around the school grounds. Swimming pool enterance will be on Sailsbury Road.
  • Footwear: Please wear blue shoes or poolside footwear when entering the changing rooms.
 
The changing rooms are separate changing rooms, There is one shared shower facility and toilet facility.

Designed to introduce babies from a few months old with an accompanying adult to the water, where water confidence and safety skills are introduced.

Beginner lessons for children to  start the Learn to Swim pathway and develop their confidence, knowledge and skills.

SEN Classes

All ages

Rockhopper 1 - 9

Swimmers with disabilities will learn to the joy of water. The series develops water confidence and water skills as well as increasing water safety awareness and knowledge.

Starfish 4 - 6

Designed to introduce toddlers from 18 months old with an accompanying adult to the water, where water confidence and safety skills are introduced.

Octopus 3

Children that can paddle with face in the water, and paddle on back.

On completion the swimmers will be able to swim 5 metres without any aids.

Stanley 1 - 7

Specifically designed to teach learners from 3 years with basic swimming and water safety skills.

Level 3

4 years + (Reception years+)

Goldfish 1 - 2

Swimmers will be learning different skills, alongside improving all 4 strokes.

 

On completion the swimmers will be able to swim 10 metres without any aids.
